This has been one of the most amazing weekends. I am so excited to hit the ground running and teach everything I learned… Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I got some great feedback from last week’s class… one mom emailed saying [her daughter] went to the secret garden that night before she went to bed… that made my day because this little girl suffers from anxiety and I helped her find a peaceful place… I LOVE this!!!!

I got way more than I expected from this course. I, like so many other people where I live, only knew yoga as the asanas. After immersing myself in this training, and learning about all 8 limbs of yoga, I have been inspired to enroll in a 200 hour adult course to continue furthering my own knowledge of the practice. After immersing myself in this training, and learning about all 8 limbs of yoga, I have been inspired to enroll in a 200 hour adult course to continue furthering my own knowledge of the practice. I love that I have so many incredible ideas and tools to bring the asanas, meditation, mindfulness, pranayama, and more to the students at my school!
It was such an experience. Not only did it open my eyes to yoga for children and how it can have such an impact on their well-being, but it also deepened my own practice. It is often said we can learn a lot from children, and yoga is just another example of how that is so true. Kids get ...

Kids get stressed out too, or feed off our stress, and this amazing program can really help kids in need.

As you already know, the benefits of Yoga are infinite … for many students it brings much needed calm, and for others increased alertness. Your music enhanced the experience tenfold . . . it captivated students’ attention, freed me from excessive verbiage and allowed students to access the spiritual essence of Yoga through words and music. Our performance of your song, Salutation to the Sun, at our 100th Day of School celebration will always be one of my favorite teaching memories.

Just wanted to share that the Tuesday after training I went all through the school and yoga, mindfulness and little brain breaks were EVERYWHERE! It is amazing the change in all my staff. We always had mindfulness built in, but the teachers and staff are taking it to a whole new level! Yay! Thank you!!

My daughter started to get a migraine one night after the standardized testing. She couldn’t stop crying, head hurt, nausea. Nothing worked. Finally I said – ‘how about trying the meditation you learned at KAY?’ So she went to a peaceful place in her mind, visualized a mountain river, a hammock, blue sky, rustling leaves, the sound of water and birds. It worked. She feel asleep!

My name is Sarah and I’ve been teaching kids yoga for a little over a year. I decided to get KAY Certified to open up opportunities to teach elsewhere. The KAY training has transformed my classes. I was confident in my teachings before, but this provided so many tools and fill in the puzzle pieces that I didn’t even realize were missing and created a great flow for the children and myself included. I love the KAY program and am absolutely recommending it to any of my yogi friends wanting to take that leap to childrens yoga. Thank you Kidding Around Yoga!

Last night I had back to back classes at the studio where I teach. A kids class followed by an adults class. When I went to put the music on for my adults class, the kids play list was still on and I blasted “A Yogi Went to Sea” accidentally… they wanted to hear it so I left it on. We ended up doing all of the songs on the play list (30 minutes) and then continued on with a super playful “adults” class afterwards. They absolutely LOVED the class and I received messages from the students afterwards saying that it was the “funnest” Yoga class they have ever done!!

It is so great that KAY allows you to attend [their training] without being a 200 hour certified Yoga instructor because so many teachers and professionals can benefit from knowing these stress management for kids techniques … BUT I am so glad I followed up with my 200 hours because, it was about so much more than Yoga,...

It is so great that KAY allows you to attend [their training] without being a 200 hour certified Yoga instructor because so many teachers and professionals can benefit from knowing these stress management for kids techniques… BUT I am so glad I followed up with my 200 hours because, it was about so much more than Yoga, it was about life. I had some major changes occur throughout the 200 hour training and I am sure that it was not only because of what I was being taught but also because it was changing who I am. Prior to my training, I thought that Yoga was something that you do. However, now I know, that it is a way of life. You can practice your asana but truly living your Yoga is another thing. Having gone into the KAY training for the sole purpose of working with my son, I was unaware that it was paving the way for so many great things! Thank you KAY for starting me on the path of yoga!
