The Magic of Kidding Around Yoga
When children experience KAY classes, they are not only building physical strength and flexibility, they are learning skills that will provide mental and emotional benefits throughout their lives! The magic of Kidding Around Yoga is our unique class programming. KAY teachers are experts in meeting each child’s needs, providing creative activities, games, songs, and crafts based on traditional yoga and meditation practices.
Our children live in a busy world and KAY classes are an oasis providing a safe place to be creative, move freely, and experience calm. We look forward to being part of your child’s day!

Want a fabulous birthday party experience for your child?
PACKAGE 1:
- 90 minutes with Marcie
- 45-60 minutes of a special yoga class, depending on age.
- 15-20 minutes of a no-mess craft project. This is usually a Native American talking stick. Could also be a no-sew lavender eye pillow or a calm-down jar for additional $2/child.
- This can be your PARTY FAVOR!
- 10 minute closing circle to celebrate your child!!
- $150 for up 10 children. $8 for each additional child above 10. Please contact Marcie for maximums.
- You can also purchase a special yoga mat for your child that their friends and family can decorate with them for $10
- Birthday Announcement Cards can be purchased for $1 a piece.
PACKAGE 2:
- 60 minutes with Marcie
- 40-50 minutes of a special yoga class, depending on age.
- 10 minute closing circle to celebrate your child!!
- $125 for up to 10 children. $5 for each additional child. Please contact Marcie for maximums.
- You can also purchase a special yoga mat for your child that their friends and family can decorate with them for $10
FAMILY YOGA PARTY for the REALLY LITTLE YOGI
- ages 2-5 (with Parents & Children)
- 90 minutes with Marcie
- up to 45 minutes of a special yoga class including a 10 minute closing circle.
- additional 45 minutes for cake & gifts.
- Marcie is available to help set up & clean up for this one so you can enjoy yourself with your little one!
- $150 for up to 8 parent/child pairs. $8 for each additional pair up to 12 pairs. **This party can be booked for any child interested in a smaller or family-style party.
- You can also purchase a special yoga mat for your child that their family can decorate with them for $10
**All of the above party packages can be customized to fit your needs. Marcie is very flexible so please contact her with any concerns/questions!
Not your child’s birthday? Book a party for anytime just for FUN! (End of school year, holidays, slumber parties, etc)
Kidding Around Yoga with Marcie teaches kids yoga in Charles County. Contact Marcie for other counties as a travel fee may be applied.
Hello local Scouts and neighborhood leaders!
I would love the opportunity to introduce the Science of Yoga to your troop/den and help them earn a Yoga Fun Patch.
While teaching the Science of Yoga, KAY provides a curriculum that is specifically designed to help children be active, learn to relax, improve focus, and have FUN in a non-competitive environment. I will offer a class customized for your troop level, which can include a special scout story, meditation techniques, games, activities, and much more!
I teach all troop/den levels and can even do private sessions as well.
