Tracy has been teaching yoga to adults and children since 2016 after completing her Kidding Around Yoga teacher training. She is also a 200 hour registered Yoga Alliance teacher having received her training at Shanti Yoga Shala in New Orleans. Tracy’s main style of teaching is Vinyasa flow with a strong emphasis on breath work, health, and injury prevention. Her primary focus while teaching is to create a space where individuals feel safe, grounded, supported, and empowered. Guiding her students with clear directions and safe sequences, she encourages them to always practice poses/stretches safely and use modifications as often as needed.
Tracy is passionate about teaching the benefits of a regular yoga practice to people of all abilities. Prior to her yoga journey, she was an elementary school teacher for 12 years. Her background in education inspired her to share yoga to teens, kids, and school teachers because of the stress that they experience in the educational setting.
Tracy teaches fitness classes regularly at her local gym and church. She encourages people to use yoga daily for physical and mental health. Her favorite thing about yoga has been developing friendships and connecting with a community of health conscious people. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughters/family, exploring the outdoors, and relaxing on a beach.
