I have been working in the early childhood field for over 18 years and have discovered that young children experience anxieties, fears, and frustrations just like ours. Through my fun and engaging program developed by Kidding Around Yoga, children will be introduced to yoga poses, meditation, and mindfulness strategies as well as given many opportunities to practice empathy and kindness in the class and at home. They will begin to build an inner toolbox that they can pull from to help calm their mind and body when overwhelming emotions and situations arise. Learning these skills at an early age will increase their opportunity for happiness and success throughout a lifetime.
