Michelle is an international educator with over 10 years of classroom experience. She holds a MAT in curriculum and instruction and taught in both the US and abroad. Michelle first discovered yoga when she was in college and has been practicing since. She became a 200 RYT through Breathe 4 Change, which is dedicated to bringing yoga, mindfulness and social and emotional wellbeing to those in education. She hosts weekly low-cost vinyasa classes for those working in education or who are students. Michelle believes that in order to change the world, we must start with those who are influencing the next generation. Michelle combines her love of play with yoga for a fun and exciting class aimed at little yogis!
Michelle is 95 RCYT through Kidding Around Yoga. In her classes, children are given the tools to deal with everyday stressors, become more successful in regulating their emotions, all while learning that kindness is key. Boys and girls of all ages benefit from the KAY method and learn to work together during activities, partner yoga, storytelling and so much more. Michelle is a lover of peace, love, joy and light and lots of peaceful children and can’t wait to share the practice of yoga with your little ones.
