About Kidding Around Yoga

Every Kidding Around Yoga class offers a complete, age-appropriate Yoga practice including breathing instruction, relaxation techniques, stretching and strengthening poses, all using fun-filled music, games, and imagination. KAY’s secret is our playfulness, keeping your child motivated, excited, and moving. This is not your typical Yoga class. A KAY class gets children singing, dancing, skipping, marching, jogging, shaking, laughing, hopping, limbo-ing, and storytelling ALL while practicing Yoga to original KAY music.

Kidding Around Yoga classes are a unique opportunity to give your child skills that will provide a sense of balance, calm, and power for years to come.

Kids Yoga in Mobile, Alabama

My thorough training has given me the skills, knowledge, and experience to lead creative and well-managed kids’ Yoga classes.

All of my KIDDING AROUND YOGA with April classes are designed to provide your child with skills they can use immediately and for years to come. The KAY program provides a sense of calm, balance, and power for every child that rolls out a mat. I can’t wait to share Yoga with you and the young Yogis in your life.

Mondays: KAY w/April After School-CCS

Location: Corpus Christi Catholic*

Time: 3:00-4:00

Cost: $99 or 3 payments of $33

Class Description:

This class is for Corpus Christi Catholic School Students Only! Location is the Gym Activity Room. I will get K-2nd students from their classrooms. Students in grades 3rd-5th will come to the gym activity room upon school dismissal. The cost is $99 or 3 payments of $33 Grades K-5th.Register your child(ren) for a 12 week yoga session on Mondays January 22nd – April 23rd (No class February 12h and April 2nd) with April Patrick Ladner, E-RYT 200,RCYT 95, and Kidding Around Yoga Certified Children’s Yoga Teacher. Your children will experience yoga through postures, meditation, original songs, and fun games! Yoga has been proven to improve attention and emotional balance, build concentration skills, increase focus, build physical strength & flexibility, relieve stress, and improve wellness in children. Pre-registration only! Spaces are limited and yoga mats are provided! Please send water and a healthy snack (no nuts), and a change of comfortable clothes. Location: Springhill Week Day School*

Time: 1-1:30

Cost: $60

Class Description:

This class is for Spring Hill MDO & Week Day School Students Only! The location is the Gym. I will get students from their classrooms upon school dismissal. The cost is $60, and class is for grades Pre-K2,Pre-K3, and Pre-K4. Location: Weinackers Montessori- Hillcrest*

Time: 11:00-11:30am

Cost: $60

Class Description:

This class is for Weinacker’s Montessori School Students Only! The cost is $60, and is for grades Pre-K3, and Pre-K4. Teachers will walk students to the yoga room at time of yoga class. Register your child(ren) for a 12 week yoga session on Thursdays January 25th – April 26th (No class February 15th and April 5th) with April Patrick Ladner, E-RYT 200,RCYT 95, and Kidding Around Yoga Certified Children’s Yoga Teacher. Your children will experience yoga through postures, meditation, original songs, and fun games! Yoga has been proven to improve attention and emotional balance, build concentration skills, increase focus, build physical strength & flexibility, relieve stress, and improve wellness in children. Kidding Around Yoga with April holds classes at Mobile area schools as an in school class or after school program. Please contact us if your school is interested. We also offer yoga birthday parties, Girl Scout Patch classes, end of year parties, holiday parties, and family yoga classes!

Hello local Scouts and neighborhood leaders!

I would love the opportunity to introduce the Science of Yoga to your troop/den and help them earn a Yoga Fun Patch.

While teaching the Science of Yoga, KAY provides a curriculum that is specifically designed to help children be active, learn to relax, improve focus, and have FUN in a non-competitive environment. I will offer a class customized for your troop level, which can include a special scout story, meditation techniques, games, activities, and much more!

I teach all troop/den levels and can even do a private sessions as well.

Kids Yoga Camp Description: Drop your children off to join April Ladner RYT-200, RCYT- 95, a certified Kidding Around Yoga Teacher and mother of 3, for this 6 hour a day/4 days Kidding Around Yoga with April Camp for your little ones ages 5-12. Junior Camp Counselor position available for children 12-18. There will be a $10 supply fee, but no camp fee. We only have 2 spots open for junior counselors.
Kidding Around Yoga with April Camp will include playful yoga poses, animated breathing exercises, yoga games, meditation, and imaginative relaxation techniques, arts & crafts, music, dancing.
Class will be an equal balance between active & passive poses, music, and crafts!
Come explore, play and have fun.
Price for camp $45/day or $150 for the week (Mon-Thurs) Mats and Props Available! Snacks provided! Send a lunch & drink!
