Kidding Around Yoga

with Karen

Fun-filled kids yoga, meditation, and mindfulness for schools, events and more.

About Karen

My loves in life are my faith, family, friends and fitness through the practice of yoga. I have always loved to help other people. I was a caregiver to the elderly, a support person to adults with special needs, a foster parent for special needs kids and a driving coach for teen drivers.

Having the opportunity to teach kids and families about the benefits of yoga and relaxation is exciting and rewarding. I am blessed to be able to do this and I am excited for all the people I will meet and be able to teach.

The Magic of Kidding Around Yoga

When children experience KAY classes, they are not only building physical strength and flexibility, they are learning skills that will provide mental and emotional benefits throughout their lives! The magic of Kidding Around Yoga is our unique class programming. KAY teachers are experts in meeting each child’s needs, providing creative activities, games, songs, and crafts based on traditional yoga and meditation practices.

Our children live in a busy world and KAY classes are an oasis providing a safe place to be creative, move freely, and experience calm. We look forward to being part of your child’s day!

Class Schedule

Do you have a school-aged child that doesn’t get the exercise that they need because they are in virtual school all day? Are they stuck in front of a computer and are not able to get their wiggles out? How about a 30-minute virtual yoga class that focuses on movement with music and is certain to get them moving?

Do you have a not yet school-age child that you would like to incorporate into your exercise routine? Parent and Me classes are great for you and your little Yogi to get a fun workout together.

I am limiting my virtual classes to 10 Yogi’s so book quickly. Please do not hesitate to ask questions. Email me karenhayden@kiddingaroundyoga.com. I am excited to hear from you and get you and your little Yogi’s moving.

I am also more than willing to do in-person classes for a single child, parent and child, homeschool group, or a school pod in Northern Colorado.  Please make sure there is enough space to adequately social distance.  Email me and we can discuss the details.

I am super excited to announce that I will be paring with  Wellington Recreation to offer virtual classes beginning in January!

Girl Scouts

Did you know that Kidding Around Yoga offers a class for Girl Scout Troops?  Recently, I was able to host a class for a troop of Scouts age 7 and 8.  We had a lot of fun. I would love to host a class for your troop, offer a great lesson while we also dance, stretch, learn about meditation and relaxation.  I will offer a class customized to your troop, which will include a Yoga story and a guess what?  They will even earn a very special Yoga Fun Patch.  Call, text or email me today so we can discuss it further and get you scheduled.  The cost of the class is $12 per troop member which includes the Yoga Fun Patch (pictured below)
