About Hooping with Miss Jenna

Miss Jenna is an uplifting Children’s Yoga Teacher with a specialty in creating a soothing and fun space for children to develop physically, emotionally and socially. Her teaching style is gentle, and full of love and smiles. She believes that children perform best when they have a sense of freedom and choice. Having begun teaching children fourteen years ago in the public school system, she quickly witnessed the serenity that Yoga and Mindfulness bring to children of all ages. She spent seven years teaching Early Childhood where she implemented Conscious Discipline by Becky Bailey into her teaching repertoire. Her mission is to impact the lives of thousands of children in the Austin Area by talking about themes of rich topics like Gratitude, Self-Love, Acts of Kindness and Meditation.
At the end of her class, your little Yogi/Yogini will leave floating on cloud nine, and with lots of love in their heart!!<3

The Magic of Kidding Around Yoga

When children experience KAY classes, they are not only building physical strength and flexibility, they are learning skills that will provide mental and emotional benefits throughout their lives! The magic of Kidding Around Yoga is our unique class programming. KAY teachers are experts in meeting each child’s needs, providing creative activities, games, songs, and crafts based on traditional yoga and meditation practices.

Our children live in a busy world and KAY classes are an oasis providing a safe place to be creative, move freely, and experience calm. We look forward to being part of your child’s day!

Girl Scouts

Hello local Scouts and neighborhood leaders!

I would love the opportunity to introduce the Science of Yoga to your troop/den and help them earn a Yoga Fun Patch.

While teaching the Science of Yoga, KAY provides a curriculum that is specifically designed to help children be active, learn to relax, improve focus, and have FUN in a non-competitive environment. I will offer a class customized for your troop level, which can include a special scout story, meditation techniques, games, activities, and much more!

I teach all troop/den levels and can even do private sessions as well.

I look forward to hearing from your organization to schedule a class soon.

Summer Camps

KAYAH Camps will provide a safe container for your child to build a healthy body and mind by doing age appropriate stretching, hoop dance, creative movement, mindfulness games, partner postures, yogi crafts, meditation and cardio.

There will be 2 certified teachers on deck, myself and our special musical guest, Monica Champion who will be joining us to teach the children percussion and music making…drum circle time!!! <3 Woohoo!

Treat yourself to a Sweet Gift- Self- Love and Care.  Give yourself the time and space to do what You want to do on a Saturday afternoon. Fill Yourselves Up so that You can be the best version of You…

ALL while Your Children experience a fun and memorable evening doing Yoga and Hula Hooping. Once you’ve had a chance to unwind and fill up your tank, swing by to pick them up and hear about all the fun they’ve had, and later catch the videos on the FB Group to see for yourself!!

Parents’ Day Out Schedule:
12:00 – 12:30 pm – Drop off with 5 Stations for children to engage in

12:30 – 1:00 pm – Welcome Circle and Icebreakers

1:00 – 2:00 pm – Hula Hoop Games and Lessons

2:00 – 2:30 pm –  Snack time on the playground

2:30 – 3:30pm – Yoga Class and Secret Garden

3:30 – 4:00 pm – Closing Circle and Stations while waiting for Parents to arrive

On the evening of the event, please send your child in Comfy Clothing (Pajamas good), and with:

~2 or 3 healthy snacks

~A Bottle of Water

~Yoga Mat (available for purchase $15)

~Hula Hoops if they have one
