95 HOUR TRAINING
Based on the new Yoga Alliance certification requirements, if you are a 200 hour certified Yoga teacher wanting to become certified to teach Children’s Yoga, you are required to take a 95 hour training. KAY is offering a phenomenal opportunity to complete these requirements in 3 modules At your own pace and for a VERY reasonable price! Of course if you love kids and want to learn more beyond our 3 day training you DO NOT HAVE to be a Yoga Alliance certified teacher to attend.
The KAY 95 hour TT will be offered in 3 modules.
MODULE #1 …23 hours
ATTEND THE THREE DAY TRAINING …you must attend this first!
Cost: $325 if paid in full, 3 months in advance, or follow the pricing structure on our site. On the fees page. Three day trainings are offered approximately 6 times per year. Check it out.

MODULE #2…27 hours-Choose one of the following:
A-Attend KAY summer camp 2012:
Arrive July 25th 2:00pm – Depart July 28th 2:00pm
Come to visit, play, teach, volunteer, serve, learn and study.

Cost: $550 or $500 if signed up before May 1st 2012
(includes room and board)
Stay extra days for $100 per day and have the most amazing kid yoga experience of a lifetime!

B-Schedule a private training with Haris in St. Pete.
You could potentially stay in her private apartment if it is available. Or enjoy a local tropical hotel and the wonders of St. Pete. This training would have to be approx 4 days, i.e. 27 hrs to meet the YA requirements. We would teach together during the day, and study together in the early evening. We will host a free community “clean up the park” class, and much more. You will have free time to enjoy the beach and attend an adult yoga class at your expense if you wish to.
Cost: $550 if you stay with me, one meal a day included
$425 if you stay at a hotel

MODULE #3…37 hours- The remainder of the training is being held at
The Satchidananda Ashram, Yogaville.
Wednesday, Oct 10th 3:00 pm-Sunday, Oct. 14th 11:30 am
(If you live in Florida and don’t see any way you can get to Virginia for this module please contact Haris. Plans are being made for a Florida option)
You can deepen your Yoga practice, enjoy the country, study with very learned Yogis in the community, run a 3 hour kids yoga camp on Saturday, and live the Yoga life for 4 days. This portion of the training will be held once per year. So plan on modules #1 and #2, now if you can! The cost will be different for everybody based on the accommodations that you choose. At Yogaville there are many options: Tenting, Semi and Private rooms, and hotel “style” accommodations. This portion of the training is not being “offered” by Yogaville. It is being offered by KAY. You will be lodging at the Ashram and potentially having the training at Yurtananda…Outside on blankets over-looking the James River….or in Haris’ spacious Yurt! All subject to change depending on attendance. No worries. IT’S ALL GOOD!
Cost: This portion of the training will be 4 days and after the cost of your stay at Yogaville (prices vary) there will be a $400 payment to KAY.

NON CONTACT HOURS-8
Teach 6 kids classes (3 as a service project)
and take a detailed test on the entire training.
Certificates will not be given UNTIL these hours are documented.
Take as much time as you need to fulfill your 95 hours. AND… you do not need to be a 200 hour certified teacher when you begin. You MUST be a 200 hour certified teacher when KAY gives you your certificate.
TOTAL COST: The cost of the Training MINUS lodging is approx: $1,200
