KAY Camp is being held at the fabulous Dayspring Retreat Center in Ellenton, Florida. This facility, although Episcopal, accommodates groups from all faiths for activities and retreats throughout the year. My own children attended a great Jewish camp there and I was so impressed with the facility, that I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

Check out this video to see Dayspring.

Camp Activities
Peace, Love, Sharing, Caring, Compassion, Non-Violence, Karma, Co-Existence, Kindness, Spirituality, Tolerance & Ecumenicism. These are all words that come to mind when we think of a Yogic lifestyle. Yes we cover them ALL!

Yoga Camp

ALWAYS lots of Tie Dye at Camp!

YOGA is not a sport and it’s not an activity. It’s a Science and a way of life! Therefore,…all the above mentioned Yogic ideals are nurtured at camp. Sometimes DIRECTLY through short lectures, given by an experienced yogi or maybe even a SWAMI… but mostly through the many fun activities Haris has developed during her 11 years of running a children’s Yoga camp.

“Truth is one, paths are many” …Swami Satchidananda
We have a unique and fun system for teaching cultural diversity, tolerance, and embracing all religions through our very own songs and stories.

ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE: YOGA, MEDITATION, Canoeing, Water play, Hiking, Biking, Drumming, Chanting, Arts & Crafts, Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Yoga-lympics, Tie Dye!!!, and more. We are very proud to announce that we will be working with Pathfinders Education to enhance your child’s outdoor experience…and THEN they can go into their air conditioned cabins…

We are offering a half day leadership program through Pathfinders Florida.

Pathfinders’ primary objective is to teach personal, social, and environmental responsibility through activity-based learning. They offer programs that build community, develop leadership and teamwork, and enhance communication. Working together to identify and achieve common goals, participants gain new skills in problem-solving, healthy decision-making, and resolving conflicts. Pathfinders is a huge treat for KAY CAMP!

You children will be unplugged during their 6 days at camp. Please DO NOT send them with cell phones or electronic gadgets of any kind. Trust me they WON’T miss them.
