Hello St. Pete Parents!
Most of our site is devoted to information about our trainings. If you like what you see in our classes – or in your kids – please consider joining us in an upcoming training. We are having a seriously wonderful time growing this business of ours. KAY is becoming recognized internationally, and it all began here with YOUR kids. We feel blessed and want to thank you for allowing us to share the gift of Yoga with them.

You can take your child to many other classes offered around town utilizing the same KAY approach to teaching Yoga to kids.

DEAR SUNFLOWER PARENTS:
Our payment policy at Sunflower School is as loose and groovy as the school itself. The fee for class is “roughly” $7 per week, or $35 for a 5 weeks. We do not keep a strict roster and if a child comes in and isn’t paid we don’t hound you. It’s more or less on the honor system. Please pay on our SHOP page by scrolling down to “pay any amount” and then INFORM your child and their teacher that your child is in Yoga class.
KIDDING AROUND YOGA’S PARK CLEAN-UPS ARE A GREAT SERVICE TO OUR COMMUNITY, and some serious Karma Yoga!
Every month or two KAY hosts a community clean up at a different park.
We gather for 90 minutes, spend 20-30 minutes cleaning the park, and then have a really fun family Yoga class.
* Bring a blanket, garbage bags, gloves, water, and don’t forget to go to the bathroom before you get there! *
What to expect at a typical Kidding Around Yoga Birthday Party
Total time 90 minutes. One of our trained teachers will arrive ten minutes before party time and will begin the Yoga class approximately ten minutes after the official start time of your party.
– 45 to 60 minutes (depending on age) of a fun-filled Yoga class, complete with a very special birthday Yoga story that will be acted out by the children with their own names included!
We always teach our kids how to meditate, and of course, there is that amazing trip to the Secret Garden that makes all of the Kidding Around Yoga classes so special. Every child will float to the next activity.
– 15 to 20 minutes, no-mess arts-and-crafts project. Standard project is making a Native American talking stick for each friend and a very special one for the birthday child. Plus, every guest signs the Kidding Around Yoga t-shirt to be given to the birthday boy or girl!
– 10 minute closing circle/spiritual teaching, utilizing the talking stick to praise the birthday child.
Now is your time for pizza, cake, etc. You can have a two-hour party or longer if you choose to have your own “other” activities.

Fee $175 includes a Yoga class for up to ten children, the arts-and-crafts project, special closing circle ceremony and a Kidding Around T-shirt for your child, that will be signed by everyone at the party! Each additional child (over 10) is $15.
Additional Kidding Around Yoga T-shirts are available for $10 each as a party favor.
