Whether you are starting your own business or adding a new dimension to your already existing Yoga business, becoming a Licensee is a great opportunity to broaden your horizons. By joining the KAY team you will learn more and more beyond the training, have the backing of a fabulous company with national name recognition, and receive lots of support from Haris Lender & Cassie Dixon.
*** Our Licensee fee is $350. This includes a $50 registration fee, and upon acceptance an annual fee of $300, or monthly payments of $30/mo.

WANT A WEBSITE? Anybody will tell you that if you don’t have a gorgeous, easy to navigate, super fabulous website, it will make your journey into the business world much more difficult. Branding is important, and we at KAY are working hard to keep our beautiful logo “out there”.

What’s the difference between a KAY TEACHER vs. KAY LICENSEE and What is The Kidding Around Yoga Club?

- Everybody who takes the training is a certified KAY teacher.
- Use your KAY Certificate to land jobs, and start a whole new brilliant career for yourself creating peaceful kids all over the planet.
- You can wear our t-shirts, use our bags, or our mats or anything with our name/logo on it. You can play our Music CD in class, use our book and we hope you do!
- You are allowed to present yourself as a KAY teacher, but not allowed to use the name “Kidding Around Yoga” in your business name.
- You are welcome to consult with Cassie or Haris ‘within reason’ via phone or email. Preferably email first and then a phone/skype consult if it’s needed.
- When advertising you can say you were “trained in the Kidding Around Yoga” style of Kids Yoga but you CANNOT use the logo in any advertising, on your website, or in print anywhere.
- Your name will be listed on our website as a certified Kidding Around Yoga teacher.
- You may have opportunities to substitute for or work with KAY Licensees.
- Join our FB teachers support group and have an instant community of like-minded folks to share ideas with and learn more about what’s going on in the KAY world.
Kidding Around Yoga Club
Want some of the benefits of being a Licensee but not the full shebang?
Here’s what you will receive QUARTERLY if you join KAYC:
- A newsletter that contains: 12 lesson plans. Included in the plans will be new stories, games and activities. The stories in your lesson plan will be reflective of that time of year, and whatever major holidays are on the calendar or seasonal activities. You will receive one new game or activity per month, and a column on Raja yoga to keep you inspired and on track in your personal life.
- Haris is in the studio recording all of the time.
You will receive an MP3 of all NEW songs upon completion, regardless of the CD release date.

What is a KAY LICENSEE?
The first year licensee fee is $350. (If you are not already a Yoga Alliance 200 hour certified Yoga teacher, you are required to take a Yoga self- study course and pass a test for $50). After the first year, the annual fee is $300, or monthly payments of $30.
What am I entitled to after I become a Licensee?
A KAY LICENSEE is entitled to have all of the benefits of a KAY teacher plus:
- LICENSEES will receive a KAY LICENSEE ORGANIZER to keep you organized for all those great classes you will be teaching!
- LICENSEES will have an unlimited use of the KAY logo in all advertising, marketing material and website activities.
- Licensees receive a special designation on our website as a KAY affiliate.
- LICENSEES will be able to purchase a KAY website at a low cost. The site will include a page with your bio, a photo and your schedule -with a link to the KAY Global site. You will have the option of paying extra to have our webmaster maintain it, or you can do that yourself. We have designed them to be very user friendly!

- Only LICENSEES will be allowed to purchase and use our official KAY, professionally designed marketing materials including: car magnets, banners, brochures, flyers, business cards, and posters. Use these to advertise your classes around your hometown.
- LICENSEES will get discounts on items for sale on our website so you can earn money reselling CDs, DVDs, T-shirts, Yoga Mats, etc. Your students will want these items at home once you expose them to it in your class.
- LICENSEES will receive the KAYC quarterly newsletter. (Kidding Around Yoga Club). This includes weekly lesson plans, unreleased songs for the next CD, new games, ideas, seasonal stories and activities!
- LICENSEES will have private access to our business library with templates for letters, articles, publicity, invoices, and other misc items.
- LICENSEES have the opportunity to build a business by starting local classes in their community and hiring KAY trainees to teach them. KAY does not set up the classes for you but guides you in any way that you need help to secure your classes, based on the experience we have setting up our own for so many years. This is YOUR business, and your responsibility to aquire your own classes. We are here to guide you.
- LICENSEES will have greater access to Cassie and Haris for guidance via email/phone.
- LICENSEES will have the opportunity to earn money by setting up KAY Teacher Trainings and assisting in their area.
- LICENSEES will have the opportunity to attend the yearly KAY retreat – a weekend designed for advanced training and FUN! Retreats will be held either in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida, during the winter, or at The Yogaville Ashram in VA, where you can deepen your spiritual practice and enjoy the countryside. As we grow throughout the country our retreat locations will grow too!
